Atwell is pleased to welcome Erick B. Allen, P.E., as an Associate Director, based in Ohio. Known for his practical, client-focused approach and collaborative leadership style, Allen will support Atwell’s land development practice by delivering high-quality projects and mentoring staff.
Allen brings more than 25 years of experience in civil engineering and land development, spanning residential and commercial site design, permitting, construction coordination, and project management, including experience with Atwell earlier in his career. His background includes leading projects from entitlement through construction, managing multidisciplinary teams, and working closely with municipalities and clients to deliver successful outcomes.
Prior to rejoining Atwell, Allen served in leadership roles with consulting engineering firms, developers, and construction companies, overseeing land development projects, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating bidding and subcontractor relationships, and directing horizontal construction to ensure a successful handoff to the vertical contractors.
Allen holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio and Pennsylvania. He is also a member of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
