We are thrilled to announce that Amir Ahmadzadeh, P.E., PMP, LEED AP, has joined Atwell as Vice President. Ahmadzadeh brings 20 years of leadership experience in engineering, design, construction, and operations, with a proven track record of driving business growth and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
As Vice President at Atwell, Ahmadzadeh will lead operational strategy, resource development, strategic growth, engineering problem solving, and client engagement initiatives while supporting our expansion across key markets regionally, and nationally. His deep understanding of the permitting processes, infrastructure design, technical services, and project management will be invaluable in advancing our mission to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
In his former role as Vice President of Mid-Atlantic Operations for EXP, Ahmadzadeh spearheaded the company’s expansion, and opening of new offices in the Mid-Atlantic and growing the local team to 60 professionals. His previous experience also includes Manager of Construction and Field Operations Support at Washington Gas, where he oversaw multimillion-dollar budgets, managed cross-functional teams, and streamlined operations in permitting, paving, and invoicing. Ahmadzadeh’s extensive experience spans civil and transportation projects, sustainable design, and compliance with federal and state environmental processes.
