Project goals
Our client’s core purpose of this electrification initiative is to transform how the company powers its field equipment and production facilities, including wellheads, tank batteries, well pad compressors, pumping stations, drill equipment, and more. By switching to electric power, they aim to significantly reduce carbon emissions, improve operational efficiency, and cut long-term operational costs by eliminating the use of gas-powered equipment and generators. The success of this program is measured by the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, the reliability and efficiency of equipment operations, and the cost savings generated over time.
Outcomes
At Atwell, we have been actively engaged in ongoing work and have successfully designed and routed more than 40 miles of electrical distribution lines to more than 60 facilities for this program alone. This effort has significantly increased the accessibility of electric power to sites previously dependent on gas, facilitating a more sustainable energy transition.
