Atwell’s Southfield Office Hires Michael J. Giddings as Senior Project Manager

 

Atwell is pleased to announce that Michael J. Giddings has joined the firm as Senior Project Manager for the Land & ROW Solutions group. Based in Atwell’s Southfield office, Mr. Giddings will focus on the real estate and power and energy markets providing clients with Atwell’s full suite of right of way services.  His responsibilities include project coordination and execution, client satisfaction and relations, developing project objectives and managing project teams.

With 38 years of land development and commercial real estate management, Giddings brings a diverse portfolio of experience in all facets of real-estate in commercial & residential industries as well as power & energy and telecommunication. He has successfully managed a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including retail, medical and light industrial assets, which requires additional expertise in obtaining financing and risk management insurance.

He has experience with complex land acquisition transactions, entitlement and permitting processing, design and construction projects, tenant, lender, civil engineering, insurance company and consulting firm negotiations. He has worked on numerous projects involving public and private utilities such as electric, gas, water/sewer and voice/data. Giddings prior experience in the title insurance business also allowed him the opportunity to lead and execute on tasks related to the title curative process for real estate transactions. Giddings is a licensed real estate booker in the State of Michigan.

Atwell Expands in Naperville, IL

 

Atwell has recently announced the relocation and expansion of their Chicagoland office within the Naperville Corporate Center in Naperville, IL.  The address of the new 10,000 square foot office is 1250 E. Diehl Rd. Ste. 300, Naperville, IL.

The Landlord was represented by Joe Stevens, Executive VP of Transwestern.  Transwestern handles the leasing and management for the Naperville Corporate Center, a full-service office campus comprised of 4 office buildings totaling 420,000 SF and supported by many nearby restaurants, hotels and other conveniences.  Atwell was represented by Stephen Taglione, VP and Senior Managing Director of Alliance Corporate Real Estate Solutions (“ACRES”).  Taglione and ACRES serve as the tenant representative for Atwell’s 26 offices throughout the United States. 

An open house and grand-relocation party for clients and friends of the firm will be scheduled as soon as COVID protocols are relaxed.  

Atwell Hires Industry Veteran Tracey Dubuque, P.E. as Vice President

 

Atwell is pleased to welcome Tracey Dubuque to its team as Vice President.  Dubuque will lead Atwell’s Power and Energy, renewable energy operations, nationally. She will be responsible for supporting the strategic growth, operational management, and client relationship development across the renewable energy markets.

With 16 years of experience from the renewable energy industry, including experience in overseeing large multiphase projects for some of the largest renewable companies nationally. She has extensive experience in building teams across geographies and disciplines, siting energy facilities, and managing development and operations activities for clients.

Dubuque specializes in monitoring industry trends and initiatives while recognizing how they affect strategy and growth potential.  She identifies synergies, reflects on policy technology and economic forces affecting the market, and collaborates with clients on how to best anticipate and address their needs.  Based in the Boston area, she joins Atwell from Tetra Tech Inc., where she spent more than 20 years, progressing from an entry level civil engineer to leading a National Onshore Wind program. Dubuque earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Merrimack College and she is a registered professional engineer.

Michael Keith, P.E. Joins Atwell

 

Atwell is pleased to welcome Michael Keith as Project Manager. Based in Atwell’s Naperville, Illinois office, Keith will provide business development, leadership support, client relations, and oversight for real estate and land development projects throughout Illinois and the Midwest.

Keith has spent over 20 years solving complex issues in the civil engineering, land development, and renewable power industries by leveraging knowledge of construction and design to create a product that is seamless during construction. He specializes in land development and site civil design in both commercial and residential development and has led engineering teams through the design of site plans, rezoning of properties, drafting preliminary plans, and performing feasibility studies. He works with reviewers, clients, and development team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. He is also well versed in the implementation of construction inspections and working with contractors to improve field construction issues.

Atwell hires Rodney Williams as Talent Management Specialist

 

Atwell is pleased to announce that Rodney Williams has joined the corporate services team as Talent Management Specialist. As part of his role, Rodney will manage the on-boarding programs, design employee training programs, and manage the various diversity initiatives that align with Atwell’s business objectives.

Rodney has over 20 years of experience across multiple industries and has led training, diversity and talent acquisition programs at previous companies. He specializes in the implementation of diversity and inclusion recruitment initiatives, on-boarding and culture management strategies, talent management programs, employer branding and continuous improvement processes.

Atwell Welcomes Bruce Napier

 

Atwell is pleased to announce that Bruce Napier has joined the firm as Director of Operations, Oil & Gas. Based in Atwell’s Sarasota office, he is responsible for client management and providing support to project teams, while also promoting and expanding Atwell’s Oil & Gas operations. Napier has extensive experience in land surveying, including land development, pipeline, commercial, and industrial projects.

Napier brings more than 35 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry to Atwell. His experience is primarily in performing and supervising preliminary, as-built, GPS, construction staking, land and pipeline surveys.  Additionally, Napier has extensive experience with managing field engineering of pipeline routes and conflict areas with other utilities.

Napier has extensive experience in leading projects and teams, as well as overseeing innovation and quality control. He led, developed, implemented and executed a Pipeline Integrity Support, 3D Laser Scanning and UAS (drone surveying) program for his previous company, Universal Pegasus International.

Atwell Welcomes Brady Berry, PE

 

Atwell is pleased to announce that Brady Berry, PE has joined the firm working in the Land Development Group in Portland, Oregon. As Team Leader, he will provide leadership support to project teams while promoting and expanding Atwell’s services into emerging geographic markets throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Berry brings over 35 years of experience on residential single-family and multi-family developments, commercial, schools, recreation projects, and industrial and storage facilities. He specializes in providing site civil improvements, involving sustainable stormwater management, sanitary sewers, domestic and fire water systems, grading, paving, and water quality facilities. He also understands both public and private developments and has successfully executed public improvements conditioned as part private developments as well as purely public improvement projects.

Berry holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and Forest Engineering from Oregon State University; and he is a registered professional engineer in both Oregon and Washington.
